Congrats to Sidney, who won Chasing Alex by Em Woods and A Special Christmas by J.P. Bowie! Both books will be released by Total-E-Bound today as part of the Yule Be Mine collection.
Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be meeting Can’t Tie His Tie By Himself Or With Help Guy (CTHTBHOWHG).
, but because he was totally (Hi, YFIGTFLTG!)
, he had a
that flocked around him after he woke up, started
instead of stumping. Hearing about the accident was
showing up to express their
and take him (and his butterflies!) home to recuperate. The end.
Thanks to Mary Calmes for finding several of these covers for me!
This was my street Sunday at around 3 pm, looking down the side of the street that the City of Minneapolis was supposed to plow today… We had 18″ of snow between midnight Friday and Saturday evening!

I’m listening to a Harry Dresden book and the very first thing I thought of when I saw those pictures was “oh, look, it’s Nicodemus the Denarian”.
A recent post from trek..Its a wrap
I thought his name was SAB, sniffing armpit boy. 🙂
I must say I’d rather deal with freezing rain than 18 inches of snow at once. Hope you get plowed out soon.

Hope you and the kitties made it through the storm okay this weekend!
Wow, that is a lot of snow! Good thing it hit over a weekend… We got rain, rain, rain, now it’s snow, snow, snow and cold (-13C).
“Gone Stumping”, huh? That other guy on the cover, with the black t-shirt, looks familiar…

CTHTBHOWHG’s story was a short story, but good.
Chaos, it will get more interesting when the guy comes to dig out his car.

What a fantastic shot of the car out the window. Buried up to the windows!
LOL. But he never learned how to tie his tie! maybe the butterflies will help. Like in a disney cartoon.
I’m glad you survived the snow! (We just got rain. And it was warm enough yesterday that I wore flipflops on our errand run.)
Touch my black tie, you know you want to…

Chris- I wanted some of that snow- is that YOUR car?
Buddy needs to know how to tie a Windsor knot….

My oh my, look at that tie, horrible

Snowy, snowy! Reminds me of home. 🙂
Loved the “chasing butterflies” line — that one legitimately surprised me!
One of my co-workers was in Minneapolis last Thursday and Friday. Luckily, he left early Friday evening, or he might jsut still be there!

We just had rain. Sorry it all turned to snow by the time it got to you.
A recent post from Cheryl S…Christmas Galore!
Instead of snow, I got wind. 🙁 I felt like I was going through a hurricane. Lol
A recent post from Nikyta..Review- Where to Find Harte
Whoa, I’m with Lorraine, the guy really needs to learn a Windsor knot or at least a four-in-hand. His tie looks like a Girl Scout’s bandana. And, good golly, that snow! If those poor kitties get outside, they’re going to sink in over their heads!

Snow! So pretty *evil smile* We got a bit too but then it rained on top of it – yuk!
A recent post from Miranda..Flirt by Laurell K Hamilton REVIEW
Alas, poor Chaos. Such a boring view. (Pretty, though!) And you’re right: I prefer my crocheted snowflakes to having to dig a car out of a snowdrift in order to go anywhere…

Sigh – you live to serve, right?
The Metrodome notwithstanding, it still doesn’t measure up to the Halloween blizzard of ‘ 91. Nonetheless, I’d appreciate it if you sent some of that our way.

Ugh to all of the snow! Of course, I’m not complaining about the snow/ice day here!
That was a very short Misadventures, but awfully sweet. 🙂
A recent post from Bronwyn Green..Whaaaaaaa
I’ve actually read a few of this books and never noticed him, lol! You have a gift, Chris. 🙂
Wow, I love snow but only up to the point it’s still letting you leave the house. Impressive!
I know that the snow is pretty irritating, but I never get tired of looking at it (now walking Victor in it is a completely different story).
A recent post from Seanna Lea..a yarny little giveaway day!
That is a lot of snow!

OMG that is a LOT of snow!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s very cold here now, about 30F but feels colder, and will be about 20F with wind chill in teens tomorrow morning. Very cold but thankfully no snow.
Oh and your story was very good! lol 🙂
A recent post from Lily..Its been a while
CTHTBHOWHG needs to ease up on the sit-ups. The top of his abs have scary definition, to the point where you can see the line of his ribs. :-O
I feel sorry for whose ever car is in that snowdrift. The car looks like it will be stuck there for quite a while.
A recent post from Ava March..Glad its the Weekend & Blog Happenings
Oh wow… yeah that is a lot… Just don’t push it down my way. I am not even happy with the damn 20 degree temps!
But you did give me the serious case of the giggles!!
And guess what… Friday is almost here! I said almost!

Hmmm…he could also be another “crick in neck” guy – am I the only one that wants to drag him away by that awfully-tied tie? 🙂
Wow, that snow! I say I wish for snow, but that may be a bit much! I think it would put me in the Christmas spirit though.
A recent post from Patti..I got nothin
Wow, I think I see lumps of cars hidden under all of that snow. We got your snow in the form of rain, lots of rain. There were a few flakes but not enough to stay around. I’d rather have snow than the sleet and ice they’re predicting for Wednesday.
A recent post from Sydney..Post Halloween Wrap-Up
We didn’t get plowed out until after midnight on Sunday!
Wow, that is A LOT of snow!! You are right Chaos – no birds out in that mess. We were very lucky here – hardly any snow, just freezing temperatures.
I thought I recognized YFIGTFLTG! Perhaps he should help tie the tie.. 😉
((hugs)) I hope you are getting around okay!
