Misadventures in Stock Photography: Part the 123rd (Slave Boy drops by again)

Congrats to Nette, who won her choice of Left in the Darkness (Haven Coffee House Boys #2) or Tagged and Bagged (EMS Heat #14) by Stephani Hecht!

Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be catching up with Slave Boy yet again. Onward!

  1. I think that was really coherent and very well done. But then, slave boy holds a soft spot in my little licorice heart. We need covers with Slave Boy AND Candy Cane Guy. Then I’d be happy. If I ever get a cover of my own I’m going to request them. LOL Even just from the neck down.

  2. I want a Deadly Paw of Smacking!! Please tell me where I can get one. (I also gotta wonder if these models know how many book covers they’ve been on…and what kind, LOL)

  3. Yep, definitely needs a deadly paw of smacking, especially for that elf cover. What were they thinking? *shudders* And Creme de Banana? Really they went fruity?

Even white lightning won’t rid my mind of the true badness that is some of these covers. Great job! Now where’s the Excedrin?

  4. Oh, I have a soft spot for Slave boy! My favorite is the ever present staring at armpit show.

BTW, I am DYING b/c I have the Elf book for review and I never realized it was the same guy! I love his crazy elf hair!

  5. Mayhem…Love that Deadly Paw of Smacking…go git him! (When I read that at first i saw “Daddy” Paw of Smacking…totally a different thing eh?)

  6. That boy is too popular for his own good. This is why I like designing het covers–as I recently found out. There’s a much bigger selection of usable stock photos.
