Book Giveaway: Show No Fear (CONTEST CLOSED)

Many thanks to the Hatchette Book Group for providing five copies of Marliss Melton’s new romantic suspense novel, Show No Fear, for me to give away!

Lucy Donovan always gets her man. As a fiercely independent CIA agent, she’s survived hundreds of death-defying missions. But her latest may just get her killed. Weighed down with a secret she’s desperate to keep, the last thing Lucy needs is to be sent undercover with a man who brings out the best – and the worst – in her.

Navy SEAL Gus Atwater never turns down an assignment, even if it means working with the only woman he’s ever loved and lost. So with a volatile mix of desire and distrust, Lucy and Gus confront their tangled past. Pretending to be man and wife is risky enough, but now the clock is running out. As their mission escalates from desperate to deadly, will Lucy’s secret expose them both?

Marliss Melton’s latest installment in her Navy SEAL series will appeal to fans of New York Times bestselling authors Suzanne Brockmann, Christina Skye, and Lora Leigh.

  1. Did you tell Chaos that its *NOT* the type of seal that balances a ball on its nose & eats fish? He might be somewhat less excited if he knew there was a difference….

  2. And a belated Happy, happy to the Birthday kitty boy! I always miss the good news on my Net-free Mondays.

  3. Ha, Chaos would most certainly be a great Navy Seal!!

Don’t enter me in this one Chris – I’m drowning, I’m drowning…. in books..

    Thanks for hosting though..

  4. Chaos would be a super stealth SEAL! Maybe he would meet a sexy girl kitty to rescue!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  5. OH MY GOSH, I am roflmao at Mouse and CindyCindy!! They are hilarious!

Chaos, I know you would make a great Navy Seal… Just remember, there is water involved though. I know you have no fear of that right??

Chris, no need to enter me… I have this one at home 😉
But I will put it in my side bar… and yep, you guessed it.. with a picture of my favorite kitties! I will have to do that when I get home though… Don’t have the pics on my work computer =(
I hope you are having a great day!

  6. loving Mouse’s comment about it not being “that” kind of seal… ha ha ha

and yes, enter me to win. We could all do with a bit of steamy romance now and then.

  7. Having met Chaos & actually knowing a real life Navy Seal I’m going to have to chime in that Chaos is far too nice to be one. Also – IRL not so sexy.

But the book cover…ooo la la…

  8. I am totally entering this contest. It’s shamefully been a while since I read a book about a Navy Seal.

It’s also been a long time I’ve read a book with such a nice cover.

  9. Sounds like a great book.

And Chaos would be a great SEAL, you know he has the sneaky part down pat.

  10. Oh, I am SOOOOO wanting this book! So definitely sign me up! And I think Chaos would be great in the spying department. With his dark coloring he could hide anywhere. And I’m sure he’s learned the art of stealth through his 6 years of life.

  11. I see that 6 years of age has brought Chaos to a new level of modesty! I think swimming in cold, dark water is a big part of being a Navy SEAL. Not really a kitty activity.

  12. Aw another cute pic of Chaos!

Please enter me in the contest! This sounds like a book I would love to read, thanks!

  13. Please enter me in the contest. My Nora thinks that Chaos would make a great seal, he is stealthy and he already is wearing his night camo outfit.

  14. Chaos, you are very fierce, cunning, and sexy but you do realize there’s water involved don’t you? Plus I’m not sure you’d look that good in a wet suit. 😉

  15. I’m not interested in the book, just the bit of kitty goodness for the day. Chaos totally has what it takes to be a Navy SEAL. *swoons*

P.S. Important contest over at my blog too.

  16. Oh sure, count me in on the contest! I have stacks to read, but little in this genre, and I think it’d get read pretty quickly… um….

  17. Hey Chris;

They say it is a woman’s perogative to change her mind – or something like that…

Can I still toss my wig in the ring??
