Linkity needs a nap

Reading Update
March: Book One by John Lewis, Andrew Aydin, & Nate Powell. Excellent graphic novel autobiography of Representative John Lewis, told in flashbacks on the day of President Barack Obama’s first inauguration.
Art and Fear: Observations on the Perils (and Rewards) of Artmaking by David Bayles and Ted Orland. What the title says, but much more engaging than you’d expect from the title.
Unmasking Autism: Discovering the New Faces of Neurodiversity by Devon Price. Very good examination of autistic masking, that is, of hiding one’s neurodiversity and mimicking neurotypicality as best one can in order to fit in.

  1. Those are some neat bird photos! Though it took me a long time to notice that the hummingbird’s beak was open.

I have bought a great many of those USPS NASA stamps (just got my Webb stamps). 🙂 I don’t know if I could cut that cake. Too much work went into it.

Do not ever get drunk in that one house… you WILL fall into one of the many ponds and drown. That diva house is way too diva for me. O.o I would have fun staying in an ultra-modern Air B&B, but please let me go home to normal afterward.

That interior-only castle is kinda neat, but my favorite part is the kitchen. Overall I much prefer the actual castle (though it’s way too big).

That pigeon house is definitely in the “burn it down department”. Yikes.

    1. Oh yeah… and that Pleasant Hill house? I wish I could say I was surprised. But Pleasant Hill is one of the more well thought of places to live in the Bay Area, and CA home prices in general are indeed crazy. I don’t know, though, if the neighbors would be prepared for the inside of that house. Pleasant Hill has a reputation to maintain, and I don’t think that’s it…
