  1. oh goody. i’m not the only one who couldnt figure out what the shiny thingamajigger is/was. Do you recycle your books into a used book store or do you keep them all?

  2. no yarn or knitting books, eh?

good finds, anyway. I’m sure the credit card appreciates it after the bruising in Colorado 😉

  3. A funky espresso maker, huh? Cool — let us know how it works. Is it a stovetop model or does it plug in?

I met Neil Gaiman. I touched Neil Gaiman. I’d like to say Neil Gaiman is my BFF but that would be a lie. But I love Neil Gaiman anyway.

  4. Poor May 🙂 She should come over here and see how many we bought at fetes etc at 20p each! I think I have more than enough to read at the moment.

  5. Heh cheap books rock!

Though we tend to average 10 a weekend for the last few weekends – the stacks are growing….

But then at 20pence or so a book (40 cents to people with strange currency) you kind of can’t say no.

  6. Those are some great book finds! Perdido Street Station is the only one I’ve read so far (some of the others are on my shelf). It took a bit to get into, but once I did I couldn’t put it down. China Mieville writes some damn good books.

  7. reading Neverwhere at the moment. Then I’m going to start Fragile Things [ once I get it back from DD later this week ]
    Well scored!!!!!!

  8. Oh no, my caffiend took a hit, I had no idea what the shiny silver thing is. Charles de Lind and Neil Gaiman! Score! I was so shocked when I saw China Mieville at a book signing – I thought he was a she.
