- New releases: Smart Bitches (romance), Book Riot (YA comics/nonfiction, YA, best out this week)
- Linkity from Smart Bitches.
- Fantasy micro ficlet.
- Some books about dragons.
- Heather Cox Richardson has had some great thoughts on what’s happening here in Minneapolis. (FYI – numerous links in that sentence.)
- “There is no ‘nervous system hack’ for fascism“.
- “31 things I want you to know I love about the Twin Cities when we’re not under a violent occupation by federal agents“.
- “US pediatricians give middle finger to RFK Jr, issue their own vaccine recommendations“.
- You can visit the Computer History Museum online.
- “Cat lore: colors and personality“.
- There’s really no way to be be prepared for the what LEGO’s partnership with Crocs looks like.
- Nice MCM – I love the room with the built-in bed frame and storage! Wish there was a way to do that in my bedroom.
- I like this a lot more than most contemporary construction.
- Quite nice earthship.
- Fun Victorian.
- Converted grain elevator.
- Smokehouse conversion – I love rocks but I hate the kitchen counters.
- Colorful.
- Why would you buy a crooked house?
- Been a while since we’ve seen egg slicer stairs.
- At least there’s a railing and carpeting…
- If you look at it again, it’s much worse than it was on first impression.

Smokehouse: OMG on the roll top dresser in the first bedroom. Other than that, nothing but the Crocs model really grabs me (I WISH!) this week.
I’m so sorry for what’s going on in your city. It’s so awful.
I love the first 2 houses. Sadly I do not have $9m lying around to buy the first one.
Colorful house was a bit painful to look at.
I’ve seen the “for you are crunchy and good with ketchup” line before, though I think I saw it on a t-shirt instead of a bumper sticker.
Very neat about visiting the Computer History Museum online! (Though I’ve been there in person. It’s really cool.)
I do not want LEGO Crocs. I do, though, love the cat color article! Today I learned that the cat color gene is carried on the X chromosome. Things make a lot of sense now. And I’m fascinated by the fingerprint-like pattern for torties and calicos.
That $9mil home in Malibu is lovely! I’m sad to say that the price tag doesn’t seem that far off to me. (Lovely home + gym + sauna + horse barn + almost 2 acres… IN MALIBU… yeah. That’s gonna cost you a pretty penny.)
That earthship is neat, but I’m confused by the teeny amount of solar panels. Ooh, the Victorian with the deer is back! I like the primary bedroom in that one.
The grain elevator is a neat idea, but I would want an actual elevator in it if I was expected to live there. That Tulsa condo is odd… I’m not used to the living spaces being above the bedrooms.
WHY IS THE HOUSE CROOKED?
“Egg slicer stairs.” Love the name, hate the stairs. I didn’t believe you, but you’re right. That staircase + climbing wall combination in Croatia is worse than I thought upon first look. (And second look…)
Hi kitties! They’re such cuties.
My ginger is a mix of good silly boy and pure evil
Love the pure-in-ink post – ???? agree – and the micro-ficlet. I see there are a lot of red hats popping up in Minneapolis. Hugs seem like such a little thing to offer at this moment. But the people of Minneapolis have that from me and my support.
Oh, and I follow Heather Cox Richardson ??
Go the AAP and other medical societies!
LOL WRT the cat colours. I had two black cats and they were polar opposites ????
I love that Polly has lots of opinions to express…and Harry is all like ‘All good here’ ????
