Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be meeting Prison Stripes Guy – thanks to Mary Calmes for the name and for finding some of the covers! Nichole found some of these covers, too – thanks!

I have no idea, either.

  1. Great story, I’m hoping he made it safely to the bottom (of the slope, that is). I like the other model in Whiskey & Wry, I’d call I Can’t Find My G String ‘Cuz My Bangs Are In My Eyes Guy.

  2. Regardless, he is one good looking man. No wonder his images are always on the covers. He makes my heart pound all the time. hehehehhehee

    Loved this post!

  3. I swear to god if I ever get Bad Santa on a cover I will freak out on the cover artist. LOL I must never write a dark haired brooding scruffy character. I’m sick of him. I could get behind this new guy though.

  4. I guess I’ll always be left to wonder what happened after he tumbled down that treacherous slope. Sigh.

Whenever I read these posts, I think, how did I not see that that was the same guy? Especially because they are books I own and have seen the covers of many, many times. And is it just me, or does he actually look slightly happy in the Black Mahogany cover?
