Congrats to Laura/Adara, who won Cup Check (Blue Line Hockey #3) by Stephani Hecht! Cup Check was released by eXtasy Books on May 1.
Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be meeting Everywhere Guy, whose real name is Jimmy Thomas. I haven’t done a Misadventure with Jimmy Thomas before because, well, he’s everywhere (his stock photo site notes that he’s on over 1000 covers) and it just seemed too easy. But then I made a little bet with myself that I could do an entire Misadventure from one publisher’s Jimmy Thomas covers… and I won! Not just a Misadventure, but an epic Misadventure!

A story within a story too. You truly are a misadventure genius :). Well done on finding all those covers from the same publisher. He really is everywhere!

I wonder if Everywhere Guy ever met Nowhere Man? Again with the Photoshop tats. I think they would look more realistic if they left the photos alone, then got some of those bubbgle gum lick ’em and stick ’em tats and applied them right to the book covers.
Everywhere Guy is…everywhere 🙂 You are…as Jenre says, a misadventure genius!

Wow. Well done. Jimmy has over 1000 covers? And probably got paid $500 by the photostock company. LOL Poor Jimmy.

Wow, he really is everywhere. You could practically make a story with the Silver Sparkle Short Stories alone. Wait, I think you did. 😉 Well done!
Poor, poor May. You never get a week off. Those naughty boys are everywhere.
Sheesh, May, you look like Basement Cat’s next apprentice.

Chris- Clearly, this guy cannot decide which side he’s playing for.
A bit of a, well, slut.
A recent post from Lorraine..Whats It All About- Alfie
LOL, what Lorraine said!
Mayhem, I think this one is a bit more mature looking, so maybe he’s not as naughty as the other boys?

I just want to say that your skills are awesome. I have this picture in my head of you looking at all the pictures laid out on a table and putting them together like a puzzle.
Everywhere guy is everywhere!
Now that I am looking, really looking at covers, I am amazed at the number of stock photos used. If I were an author and I had any say at all, I wouldn’t use Jimmy Thomas because he is so recognizable. Mayhem, feel the love. Don’t be a cranky pants.
This one was truly epic, monumental even!
And what is that in the background of Declaration of Possessions? A flying demonic pig-man? Do we even want to know?

Dude! this could be the beginning of a three part movie deal!
I love tattoos, but I think I am over the photoshop tats. Especially the chest ones (well, and the hawk). They just don’t like that realistic, because they don’t curve over and around the muscles right.
A recent post from Seanna Lea..awesome friends
Sigh 🙂 You are funny!!!

Yeah! It’s Monday and you’ve made my day. I love Mayhem’s expression… priceless!
One of your best!
May’s just jealous of your storytelling prowess.

Fabulous! LMAO! (I could handle laughing a few pounds of it off, sure enough.)
Wow, what a story! *awed*
You are good! They fool me with the different hair or beards…even just him looking at a different angle.
I bow to the master (mistress, really)!

LOL, an epic misadventure indeed. He really is everywhere.
But I have to say that a few of the covers are quite good even if it’s stock photos we’re seeing.
This is by far one of the best Misadventures, ever! And he really is everywhere – even one of my covers.

lol Imagine how many misadventures you can mix only with Everywhere man. Thank you 🙂

Looks like I got a second cover on your misadventures page. LOL
Surprised to see there wasn’t a single one of the Silver Halloween cover there though. Though he is not quite as easy to recognise in it there are a LOT of them for you to use for your stories.
Oh and in case Tam doesn’t yet know, Jimmy runs his own company. He doesn’t just model, he set up his own company to provide romance novel covers. Brains as well as beauty and, from all accounts, a really nice guy as well.
Oh and I see on his site that he is now at over 4000 covers. Now that is EVERYWHERE!
I am so sick of seeing him that it actually puts me off reading a book if he’s on the cover. It doesn’t help that I don’t find him attractive.
