Ebook Giveaway: Broken Bones, Mended Hearts by William Cooper [CONTEST CLOSED]

Congrats to CursingMama, who won the copy of The Angel of 13th Street by Eden Winters (which was released today)!

Many thanks to William Cooper for donating an ebook copy of his forthcoming short m/m romance, Broken Bones, Mended Hearts (to be released by Dreamspinner Press on May 19), for one lucky reader to win!

When Noah wakes up in the hospital, he’s relieved to see his best friend Mark at his side. Mark’s always been there for him – ever since a school bully tried to steal Noah’s lunch money. Is it too much for Noah to hope that Mark will want to be a more permanent part of his life?

  1. Naomi: It’s a generic cover the publisher uses for shorter books. I think it would be nice if they could at least add the author’s name and book title to the generic cover.

  2. Not entering… just dropping to see my kitties!!! And say hello honey!!
It is hump day…. you saw some hotties!!!

  3. Wow – that is one heck of a cover! If I was one of their authors I’d protest the generic cover…but of course I’d have to actually WRITE a book for that to happen.

  4. Can I claim special privileges since we’re practically neighbors? I could be at Myrtle Beach in a matter of hours. Anyway, please count me in!

  5. Thanks for doing this giveaway, Chris!

I really wish I had my own unique cover, too, but I can see where they’re coming from. DSP does high quality covers and they can get expensive. Since shorter works don’t generally sell as well as novella/novel length pieces, it’s not a good idea to commission custom covers from a financial stand point.

Chris: You should email DSP and request that author’s names/title be added to the covers. Maybe they’ll agree and do it. =D

    Eden: Where are you from?

  6. That is a lovely book cover. So dreamy….

So yes, I’d love to be counted in for this. And this must be a new form of exercise May is trying out. Bapping at the beads is a great workout.

  7. You are welcome, William! Hmm, I might have to mention that to some DSP peeps I know…

  8. My day is not complete until I have commented on your blog! Even when I have nothing to say, isn’t that funny?

  9. I ame entering the contest.

I haven’t read anything by William Cooper so I’ll be interested in reading this.

    Thanks.
