Oh yeah, I’m not finished with that vacation stuff, am I?

Vacation, I forget what part it is
I abruptly left off my vacation narrative after some pictures of cute alpacas in the tents at the Estes Park Wool Market.

Well, ok, maybe one more picture from the animal tents. Tub o’ goat, anyone?

After we were all tuckered out from the wool market, we headed to a local landmark for a drink.

Everyone survived – woo-hoo! ๐Ÿ˜‰ I didn’t realize that the hotel was founded by the inventor of this car:

After that drink, we all had dinner at Claire’s and then hung out at the cabin, knitting and chatting into the evening. Sunday morning, it was time to pack up and go our separate ways. (I can’t believe I didn’t get a single picture of the whole cabin crew! Ack.) I headed over to Kind Coffee

to caffeinate,

blog, and read. I highly recommend this coffee shop if you’re in Estes Park!

I wandered around Estes Park for a bit, then headed down the mountains to see Kristi.

  1. LOL, that coffee mug is hilarious! Which reminds me I really need some right now…

Wonder why the goat is in the tub? They probably have the same issues that cats in small containers do. ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Me, me, me–I’d like the tub o’goat. I am sure that no one would be crabby that I brought him home. There could be coordinating animal tubs…. Think he can be litterbox trained?

  3. i’ve never been to that coffee shop! looks cute. Too bad Chaos isn’t as enthralled with your vacation memories as we are!

  4. Chris- Love the mug and the tub o’goat- wonderful!

Stop showing pictures of the Overlook- it’s scaring the crap out of me.

I need a fix of black cat cuteness.

  5. Fabulous coffee cup! I love the Estes photos and stories. It makes me feel like I was there. Scritches to the kitties and thank you for the link to my contest.

  6. That coffee mug is AWESOME. Of course, I couldn’t use it at work. Lest they think the crap they’re buying is actually GOOD. I keep hoping if I complain enough they’ll buy something that doesn’t require four creamers to drink.

  7. Love the coffee mug! I just read your 1st post, so reassuring that you, who seem to know so much about the blogosphere, started off like those of us who are just muddling through! For some reason that tub o goat reminds me of my skinny Gracie…might be the neediness, the skinny back, who can say?

  8. You do realize that everytime you bring up the vacation you remind the kitties of a period they want to forget? (a NON-Mom period…)
    lolol
    (But I’m enjoying the travelogue!)
    (((hugs)))
