Bibbed

Little did Chaos suspect what evil lurked in the heart of his mom as he lounged by the newly finished Mason-Dixon Knitting baby bib (knit from one ball of Sugar’n’Cream, color possibly Midnight Magic).

“What have I done, that you would punish me so?!”
“No, I can’t bear for everyone to see me like this…”
“I’m so ashamed.”

  1. Poor poor Chaos. You must be so embarrassed.

It’s absolutely adorable though. I love the first picture of him in it. “I want chicken, I want liver…”

  2. cute bib – patient kitty…. but I’m imagining that the next moment, (off camera) was Chaos lying on his back, flicking the bib off with his back feet 🙂

  3. Oh no!!! Poor KittyKitty… I’ll have to come and save you one of these days 🙂

I’m still waiting to see a pic of Chaos in one of those onesies you had the other day LOL…

    Cheers Eva

  4. That was some pretty speedy photography to get those shots before Chaos got it off! Mough and Chutney would have been out of it in an instant.

  5. Is that so he doesn’t get the tuna and grilled chicken in his coat when he’s eating out of his crystal and diamond studded dish? hehe. 😉

I want one for my dogs.

  6. That second picture says it all!!

    “Oh the horror”

Chaos is such a good sport!! Oh & the bib looks great too! I love the color!

  7. Love the bib. Chaos looks good in it too, but I would be very wary judging by the look Chaos is giving you in the 2nd pic, I think he is planning his revenge.

  8. Bwaaaa haaa haa! I just burst out laughing when I saw this. I saw the first pic and thought, “no, she wouldn’t dare…” then I saw the next…! So funny!!

  9. Poor guy.. he looks really great in the bib though! My cat is torn on the subject of being dressed up.. while it IS humiliating, at least she’s getting attention.

  10. Ha! LOL!!! That looks like some kind of cat humiliation we’d put on Carmen! (tell Chaos I promise not to show her the picture)

  11. Ha! No matter how humiliated they may be, dressing up cats is always good for a giggle. Though I’d probably watch my back if I were you…and I would definitely buy more tuna, bribes may be necessary.

  12. Chaos is such a trooper! I love that expression in the third photo.

That is a great little project too – those colours are good for June and July in PS!

  13. poor guy. we did that sort of thing to my cat when I was little – and he got really cranky in his old age. I hope Chaos is more tolerant!!

  14. Chaos – it’s not a bib. It’s a tuna juice holder. Just squeeze it out after a while and re-enjoy that special meal.

  15. oh no! and it even has pink in it. the horror.

if i did that to isabella she would sit there with sad eyes waiting for me to take it off. she wouldn’t move a muscle.

of course, i would do this fully knowing that she’d get back at me by biting my toes at night!

  16. Oh, that is so wrong! the bib is extra cute. I’ve got to start leafing through my MDK book now that it finally arrived!

  17. Hee hee hee, I do love those colors on him. Did he try to bite the bib, it looks like he might be thinking about it in that last shot.

  18. Chaos is so totally going to get you back – probably when you least expect it. Perhaps a warm (or cold!) hair ball in your favorite shoes, a headless mouse tucked under your pillow. Something special like that. *grin*

  19. Ha ha ha ha ha
    Kitty has a bib
    Ha ha ha ha ha
    Poor little one
    Ha ha ha ha
You know, if you made two of those, they’d make a great little purse. Just thinking out loud…

  20. Hahahahhaahhaaa!!!

Ashe, Wiji, and Hazel say, “Run faster, Chaos! Use your superior stature and flexible spine to get in those hard to reach places when Mama comes at you with the knitting.”

  21. I love the bib! I’m not really into knitting baby things, but that’s really nice.

Chaos is amazingly tolerant! And expressive. I can practically hear him sigh.

  22. Oh, poor kitty!! I used to dress my cat in doll clothes. She was so embarrassed that she’d put her head down, hug the wall, and slink along until she could get behind the furniture. But she did look stunning in that bonnet!
