C is for…

Chaos! (Like, duh.) Yes, I joined the ABC-A-Long. I’ve enjoyed reading what everyone’s been writing, but I thought it was closed… until a few days ago, when Heather posted that she’d just joined. I’m so there! (Thanks, Heather!)

I’ve missed A and B and I’ll go back to pick them up… after the Knitting Olympics. We’re going basic services for the duration of the Knitting Olympics. You have been warned.

Anyway. C is for Chaos, my utterly chaotic cat, whom I’ve known since his birth (and even before – I felt him kicking inside of Riley!). He became mine at a rough point in my life; having his warm, purring, busy self helped ground me then and now. He is an endless source of companionship, entertainment, and exasperation. What more could I ask?

“Psst… she means to ask all of you for more tuna, please. She just forgot.”

  1. Sheba would only consume the Chicken of the Sea tuna – canned in spring water only, mind you. In her opinion, you could drain the tuna juice into a bowl and toss out the nasty innards.

Chaos is cute. C for Chaos! C for Cute! C for Camera!

    C for Crazy?

  2. Of course C is for Chaos. :o)

I love that you have joined Team Wales! That’s the team I would be on if I wasn’t busy Spectating.

Jamal wants Chaos to come over and play…he says Jake is too boring and doesn’t allow him to play as rough as Chaos would…

  3. Aw, that’s so sweet, Lucy and Kally!

Hi Naps! Hi Jamal!! Yeah, Chaos is all about running around crazy and playing up a storm.

And folks, I don’t wanna give you the wrong idea – no matter what that cat is telling you – we have tuna on hand!

  4. Hey Chris — thanks for the nice note today! 🙂 I imagined you singing terribly out of tune (which you can take as a compliment) and it put a big smile on my face! Every time I see Chaos on your blog, Rini and Chloe (my two) say, “Why don’t you photo us more?” I really need to get with it.

  5. I love the ‘exasperation’ part ;o)

Our boss says we should set up a webcam of our two when we are gone. He said ‘I bet they huddle together on the bed, traumatized, asking ‘Why did she leave us home? Were we bad?’ Ever since he said that I’ve felt guilty!! I had imagined them sleeping the day away in true lazy-cat style.

  6. Chaos, a source of amusement for my day! How could I be blue with that face?
Thanks for the chemical level idea. Will have to see if things get better soon.

  7. Chris – remember how odd it was when I told you Willow eats bananas?

She surprised me again tonight. She eats peas too, and begs for more. **fends off the cat from her dish**

I have a weird, weird cat.

  8. I *heart* you Chaos. I have the prettiest cat named Sasha. She’s playful, with long dark soft hair. She hates tuna, but that wouldn’t have to drive the two of you apart, there would just be more tuna for you. What do you think?
