Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be catching up with My Cup Size Is Bigger Than Yours Guy (MCSIBTYG) – you’ll notice that the cover artists still love to mess with the poor guy’s hair. Keep an eye out for the cover where he has leopard pox on his belly! And wave at WiHG when you see him. 😉

Congrats to Lea W, who won Impossible to Resist by Em Woods and Keeping House by Lee Brazil!

If you’ve heard anything on the news about tornadoes in Minneapolis, Minnesota, they were in the north part of the city. I’m in the southwest. Here it rained crazily, the tornado sirens went off just in case, and the kitties hid under the couch.

Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be catching up a bit with Wind-in-Hair Guy (WiHG). It turns out that WiHG’s real name is Sam Bond and he’s a bodybuilder from the UK.

Make sure that you keep an eye out for Candy Cane Guy as you stumble through this Misadventure. And many thanks to everyone who’s been sending me covers! You’re all coming along nicely. 😉

Oh, and keep an eye out for Slouching Open Black Jacket Guy! Onward!

If you’re

That’s it for today, but never fear! We haven’t seen the last of WiHG yet…

Ebook Giveaway: Threadbare by Clare London [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to Clare London for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming historical paranormal m/m romance, Threadbare, for a lucky commenter to win! Threadbare will be released by JMS Books on January 23.

You can also head over to Clare’s blog to read a special bonus edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography!

When Edward inherits the family textile mill from his deceased parents, he knows where his duty lies. As a young Victorian gentleman, he devotes himself to the family business and doing right by his customers and employees. What concern is it that he surrenders his own artistic ambitions and romantic passions?

But a hideous accident at the mill one day brings him into close contact with Mori, one of his most productive workers, a beautiful yet seemingly delicate and vulnerable young man. Edward takes Mori under his protection, bringing him back to his house. At last, Edward has found a friend and companion. His fascination for Mori grows swiftly into love, and he’s drawn out of his quiet introspection into a world of delight and passion.

Yet Mori has a private task that both baffles and concerns Edward: the completion of a stunningly beautiful, abstract tapestry. Edward doesn’t understand its significance, Mori’s devotion to it, or Mori’s strange behaviour when Edward tries to part the man from his mission. Mori loves him in return, he’s sure – but can that ever be enough? As Edward is tangled more deeply and irretrievably into the web of Mori’s love and mystery, what bittersweet price might he have to pay?

NOTE: This story was originally published in the anthology Masquerade.

About Clare

Clare took the pen name London from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fueled family home, she juggles her writing with the weekly wash, waiting for the far distant day when she can afford to give up her day job as an accountant. She’s written in many genres and across many settings, with novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while friends say she’s just fickle, but as long as both theories spawn good fiction, she’s happy. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic and sexy characters.

Clare currently has several novels sulking at that tricky chapter 3 stage and plenty of other projects in mind… she just has to find out where she left them in that frenetic, testosterone-fueled family home.

All the details and free fiction are available at her website. Visit her today and say hello!

You can also visit Clare at her blog, on Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, GoodReads, and the GLBT Wiki.
