Ebook giveaway: The Bolt Hole by Amy Lane [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to Amy Lane for donating an ebook copy one of three ebook copies of her forthcoming m/m romance, The Bolt Hole, for a lucky commenter to win! The Bolt Hole will be released by Dreamspinner Press on March 27. Thanks to Amy for donating a second copy after we hit 100 comments! …and a third after we hit 125!

Terrell Washington’s childhood was a trifecta of suck: being black, gay, and poor in America has no upside. Terrell climbed his way out of the hood only to hit a glass ceiling and stop, frozen, a chain restaurant bartender with a journalism degree. His one bright spot is Colby Meyers, a coworker who has no fear, no inhibitions, and sees no boundaries. Terrell and Colby spend their summers at the river and their breaks on the back dock of Papiano’s. As terrified as Terrell is of coming out, he’s helpless to stay away from Colby’s magnetic smile and contagious laughter.

But Colby is out of college now, and he has grand plans for the future – plans Terrell is sure will leave his scrawny black ass in the Sacramento dust until a breathless moment stolen from the chaos of the restaurant tells Terrell he might be wrong. When the moment is shattered by a mystery and an act of violence, Terrell and Colby are left with two puzzles: who killed their scumbag manager, and how to fit their own lives – the black and the white of them – into a single shining tomorrow.

Ebook giveaway: Leather+Lace by AB Gayle [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to A.B. Gayle for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming kinky m/m romance, Leather+Lace, for a lucky commenter to win! Leather+Lace will be released by Dreamspinner Press on March 22.

Swathed in chiffon and lace, Steven Stanhope owns the stage as Stevie Tricks, lip-synching the songs of the famous gypsy queen. But after he escapes an abusive Master/slave relationship, the only collar he’ll allow around his neck is black velvet.

After a four-year absence, Steve is ready to reclaim his life and the property he left behind. But is it safe? Definitely not if his ex is still into leather. To find out, Steve appears at a charity night for the local BDSM community, using the anonymity of his stage persona to mask his identity.

Instead of his ex-Master, Julius, Steve finds a tangled mess centered around another Master of Leather, Donato Rossi. In order to unravel their ties to the past, Steve and Don must find common ground and work together. In the process, they learn that when it comes to love, sometimes you have to make your own rules.

About A.B.

A.B. Gayle, unlike many authors, hasn’t been writing stories all her life. Instead she’s been living life.

Her travels have taken her from the fjords of Norway to the southern tip of New Zealand. In between, she’s worked in so many different towns she’s lost count. She’s shoveled shit in cow yards, mustered sheep, been polite to customers, and traded insults with politicians.

Bored with traditional romances, she discovered M/M romance, where the story is about life and all its complexities, not just the ring, the wedding, and the babies. When pressed she’ll admit she loves reading and writing about men, because they can do all the things she would love to do but can’t, simply because she’s female. And if reading about one man is good, reading about two must be better! Right?

Now living in Sydney, Australia, A.B. finally has enough time to allow her real-life experiences to morph with her fertile imagination to create fiction which she hope her readers will enjoy.

You can find out more about A.B. and her books at her website, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Ebook giveaway: Covet Thy Neighbor (Tucker Springs #4) by LA Witt [CONTEST CLOSED]

Many thanks to L.A. Witt for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming m/m romance, Covet Thy Neighbor (Tucker Springs #4), for a lucky commenter to win! Covet Thy Neighbor will be released by Riptide Publishing on March 25.

Opposites attract, but heaven help these two.

Tattoo artist Seth Wheeler thinks he’s struck gold when Darren Romero rents the apartment across the hall. The new guy is gorgeous, witty, and single, plus he’s just the right blend of bold and flirtatious. Perfect.

Except then Darren reveals that he moved to Tucker Springs to take a job as the youth pastor at the New Light Church. Seth is not only an atheist, but was thrown out by his ultra-religious family when he came out. He tends to avoid believers, not out of judgment but out of self-preservation.

But Darren doesn’t give up easily, and he steadily chips away at Seth’s defenses. Darren is everything Seth wants in a man…except for that one massive detail he just can’t overlook. Is Darren’s religion the real problem, or is it just a convenient smokescreen to keep him from facing deeper fears? It’s either see the light, or risk pushing Darren away forever.

Ebook giveaway: Return to the Mountain (The Mountains #5) by PD Singer [CONTEST CLOSED]

Congrats to Lele, who won Family Man by Heidi Cullinan and Marie Sexton! Family Man is being released today by Samhain Publishing.

And since I hit publish instead of schedule yesterday… go enter the contest for Test Drive by LA Witt!

Many thanks to PD Singer for donating an ebook copy of her forthcoming m/m romance, Return to the Mountain (The Mountains #5), for a lucky commenter to win! Return to the Mountain will be released by Dreamspinner Press on March 22. Also on March 22, you’ll be able to download the free short, Cross the Mountain (The Mountains #3.2)!

Caddy Gary Richardson hungers for the lush life of the wealthy golfers he escorts around the course at Wapiti Creek. The contrast between his tiny trailer at the edge of a mountain town and the luxurious ski and golf resort is something he’s learned to live with but not like. Gary wants the fancy condo and late-model car not just for himself but for his childhood friend turned lover, Seth Morgan. He’d settle for security for the two of them, but even that seems out of reach.

Seth is content with Gary and enough spare cash for greens fees at municipal golf courses. Going pro is beyond his means, even if he plays well enough to win on the championship resort courses. Gary would do anything to fulfill Seth’s dreams, even things he’d rather keep to himself. When an unheard of opportunity knocks, Gary can answer or resign himself to living on tips from affluent tourists.

But Seth can’t live with that answer when it means his trust has been betrayed. He has to let go and hope the man he loves will find his way home.

Excerpt (scroll down and expand)

Allan Tengerdie tumbles down easy ski slopes so often that he doesn’t believe Mark McAvoy’s assurances that he’ll enjoy cross-country skiing. Allan didn’t come to a fancy ski resort to trudge on the flats, but if a soft-in-the-middle chef has a chance to keep up with his ski patrol lover, he really ought to try.

Allan and Mark have a great time on the trails, but it’s pleasure for which Allan pays dearly. How will Mark convince him to go again?

About PD

PD Singer lives in Colorado with her slightly bemused husband, two rowdy teenage boys, and thirty pounds of cats, all of whom approach carefully when she’s in a writing frenzy. She’s a big believer in research, first-hand if possible, so the reader can be quite certain PD has skied down a mountain face-first, been stepped on by rodeo horses, acquired a potato burn or two, and will never, ever, write a novel that includes sky-diving.

When not writing, playing her fiddle, or skiing, she can be found with a book in hand. Her husband blesses the advent of ebooks — they’re staving off the day the house collapses from the weight of the printed page.

You can follow her adventures on her blog and on Facebook.

Thanks to his good-for-nothing brother, Andrew Hughes is up to his eyeballs in debt and needs a job fast. Landslide by Mary Calmes
For three years, paranormal courier Frank Corrigan has been working for incubus demon Cael Berith. When Frank’s sister, Lindsey, gets bitten by a werewolf she’s sleeping with – and possibly witnesses a murder – Frank rides to her rescue. If he’s lucky, he might just save his love life too.

About Mary

My name is Mary Calmes and I have been writing since I was in the seventh grade. One of my first stories ever was about Demetrius and Konor, two big strapping gorgeous knights and while it was not historically accurate in any way, hello, seventh grade, the one thing that became glaringly obvious was that the guys liked each other more than the damsels in distress they were trying to save.

“Boys don’t sleep in the same bed when they’re grown-ups,” my mother said when I read it to her.

“Men don’t talk nice to each other like that,” my step-father said that night.

They do in m/m fiction which I was destined to write.

I tried really hard to write a female lead but it just left me flat. I read all kinds of different books and I have favorite writers in every genre but I can only write about men. The dynamics between two men are more interesting to me and as a woman, I like men and the idea of two men together, two beautiful men… I don’t understand the question.

When people tell you that they’ve enjoyed something you’ve written, there really is no greater feeling.
