I used to internet date. Now I read blogs instead. Knitting, reading, bicycling, and cat parenting. It's a wild life.

My 2 old girls have figured out the rule. Or maybe they are just too old to be jumping around like the other young idiot I have. Whom I find on tables, counters, the backs of chairs that tip over, plants and on the tv...

Yeah, what they said! Actually, our table is sort of a conduit to the window shelf with the bird feeder right outside. They never show any interest in our plates, though, if we're eating there. I think a cat or two on the table adds character to the household.

Hummmmm obviously the no cats on the table rule would not apply to Chaos or May because they do not think they are cats. Sometimes I think the only reason my cats allow me to live in the house is because I can open cans and cater to their every whim.

Reminds me of once we set the dining room table for company, with the good china and wine glasses. When we came back in from the kitchen, there was my mom's cat, right in the center of the table between the candlesticks. She looked at us so proudly as if to say, "You know, there was a centerpiece needed here." Other than that, she usually stayed off the tables (as far as my mom knew :-) ).
