In which we welcome the googly-eyed black cat bowl

This’ll be brief – I was recuperating from a migraine yesterday during my blog-writing time…

Obsidian Kitten sent the most wonderful bowl for Chaos and Mayhem:

*sniff sniff sniff* “Does this smell like the lovely Isis and Morgan and Emma?” -Chaos

If you can’t read the card, there’s a cat looking up at his catstaff, with a dead rat on the carpet between them, and saying, “Make ratatouille.” Hee hee.

Obsidian Kitten also sent a Cat Dancer toy. Although Mayhem wasn’t much interested in the toy while it was in its packaging, she was very into it after it was opened. Pictures tomorrow or next week. Thank you so much, Obsidian Kitten!!

“Hmm – this looks very interesting…” -Chaos

“Whatevah, big kitty. I’m outta here.” -Mayhem

  1. Something I’ve been meaning to say for a while now: amazing how you can keep that patch of carpet so fur-free with two black cats.

  2. Hope you are feeling much better now!

I love that cat bowl – it is awesome. We had a cat dancer a long time ago and I remember how popular it was 🙂

  3. I’ve had a sympathy headache for three days now. Hope you feel better soon. Love all of the neat kitty gifts your girls received.

  4. I hope you are feeling better! Migraines are so debilitating and wearing.

Adorable bowl, and I am looking forward to seeing the cat dancer in action. I hope the MWGT isn’t jealous.

  5. What a great cat bowl! I’m not on the prowl again for cat stuff as my sister has brought home a new cat. It’ll be one week today. Mom and I are both hoping she’ll keep him, but even a year after loozing Giz she’s have a bit of a rough time. But Rembrandt is happy so we’d like to see him stay while Amber bonds…

  6. Hehe! I can’t help thinking of that quote from ‘Ratatouille’ (the movie) – “If you’re gonna name a food, you should give it a name that sounds delicious. Ratatouille doesn’t sound delicious. It sounds like “rat” and “patootie.” Rat-patootie, which does not sound delicious.”

  7. Ha! I love that card.

Hope you’re feeling better today, sometimes I wonder which is worse, the migraine…or the day after, I’ve had hangovers that weren’t as bad.

  8. Don’t say Cat Dancer too loudly – Ricky might come running over to your place. We go through 3 or 4 of those a year. I can run Ricky to the point where he collapses in a heap and pants with his little tongue hanging out. LOL!
