Misadventures in Stock Photography: Part the 95th (The Return of Neck Crick Guy)

Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! It’s been a long, long time since I featured Neck Crick Guy – shall we see what he’s been up to? If you’re curious, here’s what his original stock photo looks like.

  1. Poor May looks like she might be getting sick at the thought of all the naughty boys.

The photoshopped hair was bad, but better than most of the ones I’ve seen in the past. I’d like to think that it is getting better, but it is much more likely to be a fluke.

  2. OMG! Gotta love that in the original pic he’s got the Detroit Tigers’ Olde English “D”!

And, is it me, or does the neck crick look more painful in the “close ups”?

  3. They gave him purty long hair on All That Glitters, but left his receding hairline (or maybe that’s a strong widow’s peak), so it looks like his long hair is coming out of the back of the top of his head. Poor NCG 🙁

  4. Poor NCG… Here his is, managing his receding hairline with as much dignity as he can muster, and then they photoshop terrible hair on the poor man… It’s like he’s been given a comb-over! So not hot…

May, you’re looking very possessive of whatever it is you have your paws clasped around – still cute though!

(Chris, I have to know… The backgrounds in all the photo’s are always neat & tidy… How do you do that???)
