I used to internet date. Now I read blogs instead. Knitting, reading, bicycling, and cat parenting. It's a wild life.

Hi! You stated: My bind off edge is a bit tighter than my cast off edge. I was under the impression that they are one and the same. How different?

TIA!

[...] At Nanytutu’s I just picked up two skeins of yarn - 1 lone skein of Panda Cotton and 1 skein of Fixation in bright orange (I didn’t get a photo of that one because it already made it to my knitting bag, though I haven’t opened it yet). At Woolen Treasures I picked up a solid color Panda Cotton called Ember Glow. Then Nanytutu’s had a coordinating multi-color skein called Cinnamon Red so I had to get that so I could have fun cuff/heel/toes - of course! I don’t know what it is, but I’m all about the contrasting cuff/heel/toes lately. The Fixation I’m going to use to make a stick shift cover. Mine is black and at nearly a mile high in a black car, even with a sun shade in the windshield the gear shift can be scorching. The rest of that skein will become one of Chris’ Iced Java Jackets. [...]

Hey- nice iced java jackets! I've knit for my hot coffees before- but I love the idea of being spared that cold cup 'sweat' on my summer drinks!
If you happen to see a woman followed by 6 little people at a coffe shop somewhere in the twin cities- it may be me... I love coffee, I love coffee shops, and I love to see how many little people fit into some teeny tiny independant shops! Some days... other days, that'll be my big red van pulling through the drive-thru!
Happy knitting-

Hmm, I have a LOT of Fixation about since I've only made one cup cozie out of it. I may have to try this pattern for some variation!

thanks!
