Chaos Oblique

Not an Artist is having a contest to name one of her knitting creations. Submit your idea by Saturday, November 18, midnight EST.

My work fun continues, but hopefully things will settle down later this week. My week isn’t starting off too well – my front door lock jammed as I was leaving this morning and I had to leave the key sticking out of the lock. No cats will be fed until the locksmith comes, since I can’t get into my condo!

Reading Update
Shakespeare’s Counselor and Shakespeare’s Christmas by Charlaine Harris. Two more Lily Bard mysteries, completely out of order.
Vanishing Point by Marcia Muller. The latest mystery about San Francisco PI Sharon McCone is a solid, enjoyable read that kept me guessing (wrong) for a long time.

Some of you have been wondering if Chaos is hiding from the blog. Whatever gave you that idea?! He’s fine, BTW – I think he’s just kind of stunned about how much energy May has. 🙂

  1. Yeah…I was wondering about that the other day. He’s not feeling icky again, is he?

Sorry about your keys/door. NOT a good way to start a Monday. Blah!

  2. Just read your coffee questionairre. I am the same way with travel mugs, I am sooo particular about the lids. I hate the little slidey lids, you get coffee in them and they are impossible to clean. And I want my coffee to stay HOT! not luke warm. BTW, Chaos, come on, get over it. We all know who the real stately feline photogenick is in that household, come on now, give the camera some love.

  3. I would say that you would have to slip cat food through the letterbox but I’m guessing you probably don’t have one? Poor Chaos and May – maybe you need a hunky fireman to lend you his ladder??

  4. awwwwww! kitty paws and kitty noses. they’re so sweet. now you’ve got me missing my little black cat since i’m here at work at the moment. 🙂

  5. I was starting to wonder about Chaos. He’s just letting the little guy have a few moments of glory before he, himself, returns to his rightful place as the center of attention on the blog. After all, it’s named after him.

  6. Arg. Hope your week improves. It must have been something in the air yesterday along I-35. I basically couldn’t get out of bed and when I did, I couldn’t get off of the couch or be productive to save my life.

As always, love the kitty pix.

  7. What fantastic pics of paws and noses!

I wish I were a book publisher, cuz I’d scoop you up for a Mayhem & Chaos tome, the coffee table edition (emphasis on Coffee, heehee!)–especially May in her aerodynamic acrobatics above!
