Reading Update
Hockey Abstract by Rob Vollman. reread. This time I took a few notes – hopefully that helps me remember some of the key terms in hockey statistics.

It was a little cool here earlier in the week, which led to a run on lap real estate.

  1. I can pine for the fjords with my feet up in that hammock. We are getting a new arrangement at work, I wonder if they will let me have a foot hammock. I want one!

  2. That’s a lot of comments. I love Friday Linkety. My favorite post this week was the fanfic post since I’ve been trying to get into them lately with very mixed results. I’m currently reading a Teen Wolf one that was recommended and the background noise in my head is just “don’t judge don’t judge”. It’s kind of ridiculous and strangely compelling.

  3. I have recently become a devotee of fish tacos, having eaten some killer ones at the newish Mexican restaurant in Osceola. Must try your linked recipe. Link to dead parrot forwarded to all members of immediate family, all of whom can quote entire sketch. Also, I think that Fuut hammock would be hard on the back…

  4. Yep, that ‘Will I Read It?’ flowchart works for me. And I really liked the ‘Lord of the Rings’ in 90 secs video! 🙂

  5. If those airbus seats are ever real, I’m giving up flying.

We had lobster burgers in Martha’s Vineyard. Yum.

I tried to look up what a Fnord is, but I think trying to understand the definition will kill me.

Now to go look at cupcakes for the rest of the evening…

  6. What’s wrong with a cat for a prize? I’d like that! Although I think we have some sort of by-law that says 2 cats is the limit, and I already have 2…

  7. yes, please, a kitty would be fine. We’ve lost three of our four in the last 3 months. (lymphoma, stomach cancer in my 21 year-old soul mate, and seizures from a brain tumor). Love your links, I arrive here via kmkat
