Misadventures in Stock Photography: Part the 127th (Guy of a Different Color)

Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be meeting Guy of a Different Color (GoaDC), so named because he reminded me of the Horse of a Different Color from The Wizard of Oz – he’s a slightly different shade every time you see him! 🙂

One night,

were hanging out with

, drinking beer to quench their

and mending their tattered clothes using

, when who should appear with some

but the

, yelling, “

, you

heathens!

had to deal with such recalcitrance – rest assured that you’ll be

. Bwa-ha-ha!”

Hmm. Anyone suffer a brain sprain reading that?

  1. I think it’s the naughty authors, not the naughty boys, that need to be punished for this one. They could have matched their GoaDC fleshtones and titles so that the story could be told in ROY G BIV order. Thanks for recalcitrance – I like that word.

  2. That guy appears on a lot of covers, in other poses too. He’s just too damn hot. I’m trying real hard right now not to use him in a design, but it’s not easy–he’s perfect for it.
