Bibbed redux

Way back on June 7, I participated in A Day in a Knitter’s Life. Sort of. If you’re curious about my rather pathetic effort, you can check it out.

In more current news, I finished another Project Spectrumesque MDK bib in Sugar’n’Cream color swimming pool. I’m 2/3 done with yet another bib – these things are speedy and much appreciated by parents, since they are significantly more absorbent than most of the bibs you can buy.

My model’s curiosity overcame his good sense (how could he forget so quickly?!) and he was quickly trapped for a photo shoot.

“Again, I’m so ashamed…”
“How could I forget so quickly?!”
“I would so rather be playing with Midnight Mouse.”
“Release me, oh evil bib!”
“Ok, ok, I can do this – one shoulder free! Hah!!”

  1. Bad mother! The least you could do Chris, was to let Chaos do a test run. He might have kept it on longer if you had let him use it while eating some yummy tuna.

  2. “If I only had a thumb!” – Sung like the Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz – in case you missed the reference 😉

  3. Man, they’re so hilarious, aren’t they?! I swear they get back at us somehow, probably by puking on the rugs on the bed on purpose. They know how to bide their time…

Chaos? Atticus sez – just be patient Bud, just be patient…One day…
    🙂

  4. I am beginning to think Chaos should be freed from your clutches. The poor thing, the torture he goes through. Maybe I can organize a daring rescue in the middle of the night. Or not. A girl needs her beauty sleep. (Although I can’t figure out why mine doesn’t seem to help my beauty at all!)

  5. Perry has been sitting on my lap, purring and entranced as I caught up on all of Chaos’s doings thi spast week at the new blog. I think he’s wondering where all his mice have gone. Well, that’s one good thing about moving – we’ll find them!

  6. He he. Chaos meowing for his breakfast – never 🙂 Jasper is very quiet he just comes up and gives you his round-eyed look. If I’m upstairs when he comes in, he walks up and down the lounge meowing until I come down.

  7. Poor Chaos! He looks so forlorn glancing back at his mouse and just waiting for his modelling gig to be over. So, has he been saving his tuna royalties or just flittering them away? ;o)

  8. Get out of there Chaos, don’t get stuck by the bib again. I really need to pick up a copy of Mason Dixon Knitting. I certainly could make a few of those bibs for gifts.

  9. Great bib! Chaos looks splendid in it, despite all his protests to the contrary. He does have QUITE the expressions in those shots…ah, poor poor Chaos. Someone get that model another mouse!

  10. Oh how could she do that to you again Chaos? I think the bib really suits you though and its probably payback time for you eating Cabernet…..

  11. He, he poor cat ! but turquoise fits very well on black furr. I didn’t try this yet with my cats only a hat. If you wish I published a new post in the cat blog and how to give a pill to a cat for Thursday 13 group. How is little Pepper ?
