Misadventures in Stock Photography: Part the 57th (The Return of LAG)

Congrats to Samantha, who won Tears of Blood (Drone Vampires, Book 12) by Stephani Hecht! Tears of Blood is now available from eXtasy Books.

Congrats to Marie A, who won the Saddle Up ‘N Ride anthology by Em Woods (and friends)! Saddle Up ‘N Ride is being released by Total-E-Bound today.

Welcome to another edition of the Misadventures in Stock Photography! Today we’ll be catching up with Looking Away Guy (LAG). Many thanks to Jackie of Literary Escapism for finding one of these covers for me. Don’t forget that you can hover your mouse pointer over the covers to see the title as used in the narrative. Oh, and make sure you keep an eye out for familiar faces! 🙂

  1. LAG really gets around! Oooh and nice catch seeing LAG in Unbroken.

May you not only look comfy but very regal too!

Have a great day Chris, Chaos & Mayhem. 🙂

  2. May, you are mimicking the pose of LAG in the last one. Do you want to be known as Looking Away Kitty?

(Also, imitation is supposedly the sincerest form of flattery, and you don’t want your mommy getting the wrong idea!)

  3. Heh.. I’m pretty sure that my cats believe that every plastic container in the house belongs to them! The cover of “picture perfect” with the sword/knife in his hand/pocket is just a “… or are you happy to see me” joke waiting to happen.

  4. Have you ever seen the movie “10 Things I Hate About You”? It’s a household favorite here. LAG reminds me of the actor that plays the male model in that movie. (Joey?)

  5. It’s been a while since I’ve been in Italy, so I could be mistaken…but isn’t that Venice behind LAG, rather than Milan? If so, I guess he couldn’t find Rosemary because he was looking in the wrong city!

  6. OK, the fact that exactly the same cover was used FOUR times is…pathetic. I’m sorry, but in this day and age couldn’t they change the background or something. And…speaking of exactly the same covers, I have two books next to each other on my iPhone with the same cover. It’s just…wrong!

May – what a great contained!
